Just weeks after unveiling a new logo, Morgan's 2007 champion Whackers unveiled a new uniform set today, as did Jessen's DominationStation and Pyle's 2006 champion (and 2008 runner-up*) Lucky Enuf. Full-size images are available on each team's manager page.
Rogers's Ammo Dogs, Trovillo's Dirty Hippies, and Cobb's 2013 champion Dogs of War released full uniform sets today. The uniforms were designed by Andrew Krause and are featured on each team manager's page.
Three more OIL franchises unveiled full uniform sets today. Duffy's Hangovers, Baldwin's Reapers, and Bruesch's two-time champion SoonerJack each have their uniform sets displayed on their manager pages. Uniforms for Pyle's original champion Lucky Enuf and Jessen's DominationStation will be unveiled shortly.
Morgan's 2007 champion Whackers and Cobb's 2013 champion Dogs of War will each release new uniforms in the near future as well.
Original OIL manager Matthew Leal released a full uniform set for his Norman Nobodies franchise today after previously releasing an updated logo. The uniforms were designed by Andrew Krause.
Cliburn's Arrogant Americans unveiled their previously-released home and away jerseys, as well as a blue alternate today. These uniform representations were created by user STL_ArchMadness at SportsLogos.net.
Original OIL member Justin Finch has had several franchise names during his nine years in the OIL, most of them NSFW. In light of the new prize policy awarding league champions a custom team jersey and Finch's success thus far this season, he decided to change his name to something more original than Fourth Down Syndrome.
He decided to have some fun with First Platoon's nickname during the 2005-2006 mission that started this league: Hard Targets. His mascot is a way-too-hardcore soldier with a terrible high-and-tight, ballistic sunglasses, and a bad mustache. It was created by Ryan Torres Design.
Walter Musselman is one of the 14 managers in the first season of the OIL2. He, like every other manager in that league, was on the 2006 SECFOR mission in Iraq. This is Musselman's first year playing fantasy football, and it's showed. He's 0-7 and has had his hiccups with roster management. But he's not giving up, and he's determined to make a name for himself in the OIL2. That starts with developing a unique brand for his franchise, the Mutinous Apes. To that end, the Apes today unveiled a new logo and word mark, and it looks great:
The regular season is now half over, but there's still plenty of uncertainty regarding the playoff picture. Week Seven was incredibly entertaining as four games in the OIL were decided by less than a point and four games were not decided until late in the fourth quarter of MNF. Here's where we stand with six weeks left in the regular season.
