Just in time for the 2017 season, the OIL has unveiled a new, comprehensive spreadsheet detailing each OIL season. Not only does the sheet include a master list of manager rankings, it now includes separate, unique sheets for each manager. The manager sheets document every season of an OILer's career. Click here to access the sheet at Google. Otherwise, it is available on our Record Book page, as well as each manager page under the "Wins" tab. A preview of the rankings page and a manager page are included below.
Each manager page includes that OILer's unique spreadsheet, with each season's results, an average of all seasons, their best season's results for each stat category, as well as their worst. Again, you can find this on every manager page under the "Wins" tab. See Cobb's sheet below.
If you've ever wondered how many points QB Derek Anderson had in 2007, you now have the answer (he ranked higher than Matt Hasselbeck, Brett Favre, Carson Palmer, Kurt Warner, Jay Cutler, Donovan McNabb, Eli Manning, and Philip Rivers!). Go to our Player Almanac page to view year-by-year spreadsheets for positional points.
Head on over to the Record Book page to see the new, improved manager rankings (or access the document directly here). I have included the manager rankings with the head-to-records in a single spreadsheet document with multiple tabs. The manager rankings portion of the spreadsheet is sortable. Just highlight the column you want to sort and then click "Data" and select "Sort Column Z-A" (that will make the largest numbers rise to the top). Be sure to apply the "Rank Filter" from the filter menu. Let me know if you find any bugs, as this is new and I can't be sure everything is sorting as it should just yet. To see the power of the document, consider the following screenshots:
The above screenshot shows the managers sorted by Win %.
The second image shows the managers sorted by overall wins. You can also sort by losses, ties, winning seasons (">0.500"), 10-win seasons ("10 Wins"), playoff seasons, championship appearances, and championships won.
