In week 16, the PFC championship culminates in the Patriot Bowl. The winner of that game is awarded the Landrum Memorial Trophy. The champion has his name engraved on the trophy and keeps it until a new PFC champion is crowned.
The Landrum Memorial Trophy is named after 1LT Brandon J. Landrum, who served as a medic with the 158 in Iraq during the 2008-2009 mission. Later, he was commissioned and became an active-duty LT. He was killed by an IED in Afghanistan in 2013. He was much beloved by the men of the OIL, and they named the Patriot Bowl trophy in his honor, just as they named the OIL Bowl trophy after 49th MP BDE brother-in-arms Isaac S. Lawson, the Thunder Bowl trophy after SECFOR brother Joseph "Jody" Killman and the Liberty Bowl trophy after SECFOR brother Michael "Ten Man" Tenequer.
