By Team Tadlock Manager Derrick Tadlock After week two in the PFC, Pennington's FDC Chiefs are in first place. There are 3 teams that are 2-0 and 3 teams that are 0-2. I went 4-3 with my semi educated picks last week so I’ll give that method one more try. If it’s not better this week I’ll try flipping a coin next. Dirty Dogs vs. The XtremeDirty Dogs are one of the 0-2 teams. If the rosters in this game hold out, I look doe the Dogs to get in the win column this week.

By Team Tadlock Manager Derrick Tadlock Week one is officially in the books, and what a weekend it was! Tons of great games were watched and a few not so great games were watched. The PFC saw some great matchups as well. The best matchup by far had to have been the SECFOR Sixers vs the Greasy Vandals, with the Vandals edging out a victory with a score of 193.95 to 185.85! Anyway, on to this week's action. #13 Dirty Dogs vs. #8 SECFOR SixersIn order to be competitive in this matchup, the Dirty Dogs WRs need a better showing. Only one DD WR scored more than 5 points in week 1. The Dogs are solid at QB with Aaron Rodgers who plays at Minnesota this week.
The Sixers had a big scoring output last week that could likely be repeated this week. I look for big numbers from the wide receivers and running backs again this week. With that being said I pick the Sixers to have another big win this week. By OIL Commissioner Justin C. Cliburn Welcome back, kids! How was your summer? Did you learn how to not suck at fantasy football? Let's hope so, because Brake is getting mighty comfortable with that trophy and doesn't want to let it go. If you weren't at the draft party, here's what you missed out on. I hope to see you at next year's draft weekend. Dirty Dogs vs. Boomtown BrawlersThe kickoff weekend starts with the PFC commissioner, Scott Buehre, facing off against the defending champion, Brake's Boomtown Brawlers. Buehre was horrid last year, but he showed up to last year's draft on no sleep. He was, presumably, sober this year, and his team looks great. I'm picking the Dirty Dogs to knock off the defending champs here.

The OIL's Patriot Football Conference (PFC) has been renewed for the 2016 season on Yahoo!. Its schedule was released Friday, complete with the first iteration of the PFC's Rivalry Week. Check it out here: http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/league/oilpfc
Week 13 in the OIL is Rivalry Week. Here are your designated rivals for week 13 with short explanations (of course, other rivalries exist and will be tracked on your manager page):
Recent addition Kevin Hodge unveiled his Red Ball Express today. The name is based off the famed Army unit that supplied the Allies during WWII. Hodge will compete in the PFC in 2016 and his team's branding complete's the newest conference's branding efforts.
On Sunday afternoon, I put the word out that the PFC trophy was in need of a name. And by evening more than one manager suggested we name it after Brandon Landrum. SPC Landrum was a medic during the 158's 2008-2009 mission in Iraq. Later, he got a commission and went active-duty as an infantry officer. He was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2013. We'll never be able to bring him back or bring comfort to his family, but we can remember him by putting his name on the PFC trophy.
PFC manager Jon Gomez decided fantasy football wasn't for him. Replacing him will be former SECFOR supply sergeant Kevin Hodge. Name and logo are to be determined.
The second annual Liberty Bowl pits the AFC vs. the PFC. When the OIL expanded to a third conference, something had to change regarding the Week 17 Liberty Bowl. We could either pit all three teams against each other, or we could use Week 16 as a semifinal matchup: the two highest-scoring teams would advance. That's what we chose. I have to admit that I don't like excluding a three-time champion in the NFC's SoonerJack, but rules are rules. So the Liberty Bowl will pit the AFC champion War Pony versus the PFC champion Boomtown Brawlers. The winner will get their name engraved on the Tenequer Memorial Trophy as well as a custom mini-helmet made by Helmet Nation, LLC. Good luck, men.
