PFC: Cordes's Week Three Preview

Before looking at the week three matchups, let's give notice to the "biggest blowout" award for the week two matchups. Team Tadlock was awarded the "biggest blowout" for his teams performance against SECFOR Sixers. Team Tadlock picked up the third-highest point total by a player this week (38.90 points) from Tom Brady and destroyed SECFOR Sixers 178.90 to 88.20. This might become entrenched in league history, with the 90.70-point margin of victory being the highest recorded in the league this season. 

Free fallin' like Tom Petty: SECFOR Sixers suffered a significant drop in scoring from last week's 176.85 to 134.30 loss against Great Plains Drifters. When assigning blame following this loss, SECFOR Sixers can look in the mirror. They started a player with zero points (Roddy White). Team Tadlock (2-0, 331.80 points) moves into first place and SECFOR Sixers (0-2, 222.50 points) winds up in 13th place.

SECFOR Sixers vs Orange Bloods

Not much to say here for two 0-2 teams other than someone will come out this week with their first win for the season. SECFOR Sixers look to M. Forte to lead this team in victory, while Orange Bloods are the 58% favorite to win in this week's matchup. Currently, SECFOR Sixers is sitting 13th in the standings, and Orange Bloods is ranked 12th in the standings.

Team Tadlock vs Enforcers

A 2-0 Team Tadlock and 1-1 Enforcers look to battle it out this week in a showdown that has Team Tadlock as heavy favorites to win. For Enforces, J. Cutler is still in the starting lineup but might be replace as a game time decision by C. Kaepernick. Kaepernick is projected to produce 21.53 points against Arizona in their Sunday matchup. Currently, Team Tadlock is sitting 1st in the standings, and Enforcers is ranked 4th in the standings.

Dirty Dogs vs Great Plains Drifters

The 2-0 Dirty Dogs and the 1-1 Great Plains Drifters look to brawl it out this week. These are two strong teams within the PFC. Questions still remain for a couple of players in this matchup though. Will E. Lacy play this week due to an injured ankle from last weeks game? Will D. Murray's ground game start to produce because of the lack of offensive flash the Eagles have? We shall see some answers these two questions during this week's matchup. Currently, Dirty Dogs is sitting 2nd in the standings, and Great Plains Drifters is ranked 6th in the standings.

Preppers vs Boomtown Brawlers

Preppers is the heavy favorite in this matchup with 61% votes. Questions for this matchup are... Will D. Martin become a breakout feature back for Tampa? Will T. Mason get back into the lineup as the main feature back? No one knows at this point but only time will tell. Currently, Preppers is sitting 10th in the standings, and Boomtown Brawlers is ranked 8th in the standings.

The Xtreme vs Blue Falcons

In this match, Blue Falcons have a 44% vote as the underdog. However, with A. Peterson back for his 3rd game this season, we haven't seen his full point potential in a game yet. On the other hand, R. Tannehill is the starting QB and is favored as the player to still give The Xtreme an edge in this matchup. Currently, The Xtreme is sitting 7th in the standings, and Blue Falcons is the "rear guard" in the PFC sitting in 14th place.  

Grant's Cool Team vs Greasy Vandals

This matchup is the only of its kind this week. Both Grant's Cool Team and Greasy Vandals have a 50% chance of winning this match. Not one team is standing out over the other. Only time will tell how this game will go down. Currently, Grant's Cool Team is sitting 11th in the standings, and Greasy Vandals is ranked 9th in the standing.

Nightmares vs The Mechanics

The Mechanics are the heavy favorites with a 62% vote. However, P. Manning is still figuring out his new offensive system, and this could be the game it happens for him. So don't look at the Nightmares as a pushover for this matchup. Nightmares roster is tough and filled with top quality players. This can easily be seen with their 2-0 start for the season. Currently, Nightmares is sitting 3rd in the standings, and The Mechanics is ranked 5th in the standing.
