The OIL is made up of three 14-team conferences. Each conference plays a 13-week, balanced schedule. Seven teams make the playoffs with the top seed receiving a first-round bye. The playoffs take place in Weeks 14–16. Each conference champion receives its respective league's traveling trophy and  a custom team jersey. The conference champions face off in Week 17. The winner receives the Tenequer Memorial Trophy and a custom team mini-helmet.
