Michael Rogers was not a part of the 2006 mission in Iraq. But he later joined the 158 and the OIL in 2009. Rogers is on his second tour with the Oklahoma Army National Guard, this time in the 158. After starting to "get it" over the second half of the 2009 season, he took more steps towards respectability in 2010. His AMMODOGS were the only team to defeat Cliburn's Arrogant Americans as they went on to the OIL Bowl. Although he joined the league three years into its existence, Rogers has turned into a valuable addition to the league.
Rogers lives in Mangum with his wife and children and is a counselor by trade.
