By Team Tadlock Manager Derrick Tadlock Week one is officially in the books, and what a weekend it was! Tons of great games were watched and a few not so great games were watched. The PFC saw some great matchups as well. The best matchup by far had to have been the SECFOR Sixers vs the Greasy Vandals, with the Vandals edging out a victory with a score of 193.95 to 185.85! Anyway, on to this week's action. #13 Dirty Dogs vs. #8 SECFOR SixersIn order to be competitive in this matchup, the Dirty Dogs WRs need a better showing. Only one DD WR scored more than 5 points in week 1. The Dogs are solid at QB with Aaron Rodgers who plays at Minnesota this week. The Sixers had a big scoring output last week that could likely be repeated this week. I look for big numbers from the wide receivers and running backs again this week. With that being said I pick the Sixers to have another big win this week. #4 FDC Chiefs vs. #3 OrangebloodsThis matchup could play out to be close as well. The Orangebloods had a great showing from WRs in week 1 and it looks favorable for that to happen again this week. They also had great days from their D and kicker. With Roethlisberger at the helm the QB spot is likely to put up some good numbers. The FDC Chiefs had a great showing from the RB position last week and Stafford put up decent numbers at QB. This week I think The Orange Bloods win the WR matchup, the Chiefs win the RB matchup, and the QBs will be even. I give the edge in this matchup to the Orangebloods with the deciding factor being kicker and defense. #14 Enforcers vs. # 10 Blue FalconsThe Enforcers look to up the scoring this week. Last week saw sub-par performances from Dez Bryant, Russell Wilson and the running backs. I look for all these players to have a better showing this week. The Blue Falcons had a great game from Luck at QB, but had a zero-point game and a 1.9 point game from two wide receivers. I pick the Enforcers to run away with this one. #2 Team Tadlock vs. #9 Red Ball ExpressThis matchup appears to be pretty close on paper. Team Tadlock had a 21-point effort from Minnesota's defense in week one. That will be hard to top in their week 2 matchup with Green Bay. Tadlock also had a 36.35 output from Jameis Winston at QB that will be hard to top this week as TB travels to Arizona. RBs Woodhead and Riddick both had good games and the matchups are favorable for them again this week. The Red Ball Express fields QB Cam Newton, who is always a threat to put up big fantasy numbers. Look for Adrian Peterson to bounce back this week after last week's 3.10 points. The express managed to score 144.70 last week without getting points from two players. This game could really be a close one. I look for Peterson and Cam Newton to have big games this week and with that a close Red Ball Express victory. #5 The Xtreme vs. #1 VandalsIt may take a lot of points for the Xtreme to pull off a victory in this matchup. The Xtreme have a great set of RBs and a solid WR corps that underachieved last week. Bortles is a 20-point fantasy QB and I look for him to hit that number this week. Kelce at TE is another key position that could put up a bucket of points. The Greasy Vandals are coming off a 193-point explosion last week. That number may not be unheard of for this week. I see Floyd and Lacy having big games to match their teammates output. I think the Vandals will have another stellar game and win easily. #11 Nightmares vs. #12 MechanicsI look for the Nightmares RBs and WRs to have an average week at best. Carr should have another solid week and Adam Vinatieri is solid as always. The Mechanics have a solid group of RBs. Tyrod Taylor only had 6.6 points last week. I see him having at least a 20-point outing this week. The defense needs to improve and Demaryius Thomas needs to have a bounce back week after having a low point outing. If Taylor performs up to par, I think the Mechanics will win this week's matchup. #7 Boomtown Brawlers vs. #6 Great Plains DriftersThe Brawlers need to have a better week from Prescott and Jonathon Stewart. The flex position also underachieved. I see the WRs performing good again this week.
The Drifters had a great performance from Brees last week. I think he will do good again this week. The WRs should do good again as well. Bennett and Gurley need to improve this week coming off low numbers last week. I think the Drifters will win a close one here.
