Yahoo! Sports just published their video covering the OIL, its 10th anniversary, and the 2015 draft. I hope you like it. Thank you to Duffy and Pyle for opening up and to Earhart for taking one for the team to give us good background footage.
The video footage of driving through Baghdad in an ASV was filmed by Brosh on Cliburn's 3-megapixel camera (that was pretty good back then). So was the video where Brosh yells "We just got hit by an IED!" That was our second week there and happened at infamous checkpoint 59-Alpha. And the video taken from the gunner's hatch of a humvee was also filmed by Brosh on Cliburn's camera. I'm actually not sure who filmed the IED explosion video, but that was Shawn Earhart getting hit in that one. Thankfully, he was okay. The video of the firefight after Duffy talked about it being "cowboys and indians" over there was filmed by our linguist, Gonzo (name withheld because he still has family overseas). The soldier's face you see is SFC Pete Holguin of the 49th MP Brigade. That was at the IHP/CMF facility in south Baghdad, which came under attack while we were there training the IHP and inventorying their equipment at CMF (the facilities shared a common compound).

The footage of Iraqis carrying their dead was, I believe, stock footage. In hindsight, I wish I'd recorded a lot more and taken a lot more photos over there. But every day was so monotonous and boring that I never thought anyone would want to see it . . . least of all, me.
