Thunder Bowl II Preview
Merry Christmas everyone! The holiday season did not start out well for Brosh or Fitzgerald, as their Vultures and Steel Reign squads were eliminated from the playoffs in week 15. But it set up a matchup for the ages in Roe vs. Venable. Roe is the upstart, having started his first OIL season 0-3 before making a furious comeback. Venable is the defending champion. Roe is the Rebel Alliance. I guess that makes War Pony Darth Vader? Who will take home the Killman Memorial Trophy?
Brosh and Fitzgerald shouldn't hang their heads after their week 15 showings. They each scored over 155 points, which is usually enough for a win. But they ran into a buzzsaw.
Semifinals Recap
It's not often a team scores 162 points and loses by 60. That's what happened to Brosh though. It just wasn't meant to be for the Vultures as the Rebels scored over 220 points.
The same goes for Fitzgerald. He scored 155 points but still lost by 20.

Story lines: Roe goes 0-3 then makes championship; Venable benefits from being number one on waiver wire when Le'Veon Bell is injured, giving him DeAngelo Williams for free; Roe is the upstart, having joined the league this season; Venable is the defending champ
First Meeting: War Pony in a blowout (Week 12)
