We have a large league and start two extra offensive positions (RB/WR flex and WR/TE flex), so we tend to have bigger rosters and longer drafts. There are pros and cons of having a large roster as well as a more trimmed one. If we have 20 roster positions (like we had last year), our draft lasts 20 rounds and there are virtually no free agents during the year as we all hoard as many of one position as we can. If we trim it down to 18, there is enough room for:
2 QBs
5 RBs (Two starters, one flex, and two backups)
6 WRs (Three starters, one flex, and two backups)
2 TEs
1 K
2 DEF

That is more than enough for a fantasy football season, and puts an additional 28 players into the free agency pool if you have an injury and need to pick someone up. So, the question is: Should we cut our roster spots down to 18?
