Congratulations to Aaron Gray's Great Plains Drifters for coming out of week one on top of the PFC standings. It's hard to believe the first-time fantasy football player is the number-one seed, but there he is. He knocked off Cordes's SECFOR Sixers easily. Here are the rest of the matchups with analysis of week two after the jump:

Dirty Dogs vs. Boomtown Brawlers

This pits second-ranked Zack Brake and his Brawlers against Brake's old platoon sergeant in Scott Buehre. Buehre's Dirty Dogs are 1-0 but sit in seventh-place. There's a reason why Brake is second overall; his team is solid. The Brawlers win this one easily.

Team Tadlock vs. SECFOR Sixers

I don't expect much trash-talk here. Cordes and Tadlock's time in the 158 didn't overlap as Cordes got out after the 2006 SECFOR mission and Tadlock was on the 2008 Iraq mission. These two teams are good, and I expect a high-scoring affair. Yahoo! has the Sixers as a slight favorite, but I think Tadlock wins this behind bigger-than-expected games from Travis Kelce, Terrance Williams, and Tyler Lockett.

Orangebloods vs. Machines

Both teams come into week two at 0-1, but the Orangebloods (led by McKay) look to be more formidable. They have electric rookie Ameer Abdullah at RB while the Machines lost Andre Ellington last week. McKay evens his record at 1-1.

Enforcers vs. Great Plains Drifters

Yahoo!'s favorite to win the league (Enforcers) travel to face the surprise of week one: Gray's Great Plains Drifters. Straily had a bit of bad luck last week and stumbled, but his team is stacked. Meanwhile, Gray is starting a rookie backup at one RB position. Advantage: Enforcers. Straily gets his first win the season. 

Preppers vs. Blue Falcons

Here we have a First Platoon battle between Gomez and Baldwin. Gomez's Preppers aren't world-beaters, but the Blue Falcons aren't exactly scaring anyone either. They're both 0-1 and need a victory here. This is a toss-up if I've ever seen one. As a side note, while their starting rosters won't scare anyone, both teams have surprising depth at the RB position. Perhaps they'll be open to trade offers?

The Xtreme vs. Greasy Vandals

It's a shame these two couldn't make it to the draft. Although they don't know each other (Vandals manager Brian Gauthier is a USMC vet), they both have a background in the oil fields. Jason Bellar manages the Xtreme in between work while Gauthier is spending the oil recession going back to school. The Vandals are a surprse at 1-0, but they have several injuries they need to address before gameday. Bellar gets his first OIL victory here. 

Eagletown Combovers vs. Nightmares

Grant Hudson's Combovers don't look great on paper, but they're 1-0 and still have Le'Veon Bell to unleash on the league in week three. Jimmy Mitchell's Nightmares are also 1-0 but hurting at WR and hoping Peyton Manning performs better than he did in the opener. Even without Bell, the Combovers get to 2-0.
