Vandals manager Rob Lutonsky was recruited by Zerger to join the OIL for two years. But it wasn't until Cliburn booted the previous Vandals manager (for team abandonment) that Tonk finally joined the league. Whether it was out of genuine affection for the name or sheer laziness, Lutonsky decided to stick with the Vandals identity. 

Because he was stuck with a ghost-ship team, the 2016 Vandals​ record will not be counted in Lutonsky's career W-L record. 2017 will be his first official season in the OIL.
