The second annual Liberty Bowl pits the AFC vs. the PFC. When the OIL expanded to a third conference, something had to change regarding the Week 17 Liberty Bowl. We could either pit all three teams against each other, or we could use Week 16 as a semifinal matchup: the two highest-scoring teams would advance. That's what we chose. I have to admit that I don't like excluding a three-time champion in the NFC's SoonerJack, but rules are rules. 

So the Liberty Bowl will pit the AFC champion War Pony versus the PFC champion Boomtown Brawlers. The winner will get their name engraved on the Tenequer Memorial Trophy as well as a custom mini-helmet made by Helmet Nation, LLC. Good luck, men.
