Yahoo's Current Projections

Gentlemen, welcome back to the third season of the AFC. We have had big news in the off season. Keeping with his true form, Adam Schuster faked his marriage so that he could get Target Gift Cards to shop [Editor's note: Seriously, this is some George Costanza-level shit on Schuster's part] and hopefully use the bathroom with a transvestites, whom then he would trade the gift cards for services. I hope that everyone has had a great summer and is looking forward to the league as much as I am. Good luck this week everyone.

Mutinous Apes vs. War Pony

According to the draft analysis, the Mutinous Apes did not fair so well in the draft. They are taking on the reigning back to back AFC Champions War Pony in the week one matchup. This matchup will not even be close. I like the War Pony in this one and so does Yahoo!.

Rebel Alliance vs. Steel Reign

In the second game of the weekend, we have the Rebel Alliance and Steel Reign who Yahoo! in all of their infinite wisdom picked these two teams to only lose twice. This will be the half way point of total losses for one of these teams. Yahoo! being the idiots that they are have the Rebel Alliance winning this game, however you cannot count the Steel Reign out just yet. However, both teams have breakout players such as Antonio Brown and Odell Beckham, so anyone of those players could change the outcome of the game. Steel Reign have Drew Brees at QB and he could also sway the game. This is a tossup, however, I hope the Steel Reign win.

Redlegs vs. Sawtooths

Yahoo! graded both of these teams the same from the draft. This game is going to be a close one, however I think that the Sawtooths' have the ability to pull out a close victory at home. I think the key factor to this game is how good Julian Edelman does without Tom Brady being at helm. This game is too close to call for this editor.

Warm Bodies vs. Cocks

The Cocks have the slight edge over the Warm Bodies this week after a significantly better draft this year. This game could start off the Cocks on the right track this season. I like the Cocks, not the way Roe does, but I like them in this contest.

Negligent Discharges vs. Doughboys

The Doughboys are chosen to win big in this match-up, however I personally think that this matchup will be closer than the experts say. However, I give the slight edge to the Doughboys because I will never cheer for the Negligent Discharges.

Hillier vs. Vultures

The Editors Lock of the Week. Put all your money on the Vultures, they are almost a 25-point favorite at home. The Vultures have put together back to back strong draft classes and have been dominate in the early seasons. I like the Vultures in this one and hopefully the Hilliers can work the kinks out of their offense through the free agency.

Hooligans vs. Brewmasters

The Hooligans take on the Brewmasters in another predicted close match-up. The Brewmasters are a six-point favorite at home, however the Hooligans have been known to surprise a few teams when predicted to lose. I like the Brewmasters in this one but I wouldn't be surprised if it went the other way.
