So here we are just a little over half way and its put up or shut up time. The AFC had one team make a tremendous leap from 7th to 3rd. Way to go, Doughboys. We still have that shiny turd sitting at the top though. Zerger is like that disease you picked up from the girl you took home from the bar: the doc gave you meds to clear it up but damn it still burns. The middle of this conference is a pile-up during rush hour traffic with nine teams sitting at 4-3 and no hope from the waiver wire, which some need because of the injury epidemic this season. For those at the bottom, well, just keep going. Even the little engine made it up that hill.

Game of the Week:
#4 Vultures vs. #2 Steel Reign

Well, believe it or not, Brosh made it here without his brother's help during the draft. Both teams have some spots to fill but the Vultures come out soaring in this one.

#10 Hooligans vs. #5 Rebel Alliance

Not even going to beat around the bush about it I’m biased on this one. The Rebels come out victorious here.

#6 War Pony vs. #1 Redlegs

I believe this will be the closest one of the week and dammit I’m pulling for the villain of the AFC in this one. Venable gets the win here.  

#11 Sawtooths vs. #3 Doughboys

Just like last year the 'Tooths  have been aching, but I sense some relief coming, breaking the Doughboys' win streak. Sawtooths come out on top.

#12 Brewmasters vs. #7 Cocks

The Cocks fell to #7 after a week seven loss and the Brewmasters have been slipping. The Brewmasters come out with a mushroom stamp on the forehead, Cocks win here.

#14 Hillier vs. #13 Mutinous Apes

The Apes have been up and down the waiver wire trying to make something happen for them. They got their second win last week and look to do it again this week. Hillier, keep trying buddy.

So there it is my first weekly preview maybe some wrong calls but who knows good luck to everyone. As always pick up a phone and call or text someone. You never know who needs to hear a brother’s voice.
