I don't think I've ever seen a league as wide open after six weeks as the AFC is right now. The top six teams are all 4-2. There is a substantial difference in points between Zerger (number one) and Neely (number six), but anything can happen. The bottom four teams appear to be out of it, but there is still plenty of time to make a run.

Game of the Week:
​#8 ​War Pony vs. #5 Rebel Alliance

This is a re-match of last year's Thunder Bowl. To refresh your memory, Venable's War Pony defeated Roe's Rebel Alliance for Venable's second-straight AFC championship. I was prepared to pick Roe to get revenge in this one, but bye-week-replacement QB Brian Hoyer just exited the Thursday night game. Without a QB, Roe falls to Venable again.

#14 ​Hillier vs. #12 Sawtooths

Fresh off of swindling Hillier out of Jamaal Charles, Reed faces the worst team in the league: Hillier. Chalk up a win for the Sawtooths.

#11 Brewmasters vs. #10 Warm Bodies

Lynn's RB-heavy draft hasn't translated to fantasy success. Sitting at 2-4, he faces the 3-3 Warm Bodies. I'm picking Nye to further derail Lynn's season. 

#9 ​Negligent Discharges vs. #4 Cocks

Schuster lucked into a very narrow victory over Venable last week (seriously, anytime you score less than 123 points and win, that's luck). This week, he faces Peacock, who isn't facing the same bye-week issues Venable was. The Cocks, at 4-2, have already doubled their win total from last season. With one more victory, they'll match their 2014 win total. I think they'll get that fifth W this week. 

#7 ​Doughboys vs. #3 Steel Reign

If there's a week for Green to ambush the third-ranked Steel Reign, it's this week. Between injuries and bye weeks, Fitzgerald is not at full strength. Look for the Doughboys to knock off Fitz.

#6 ​Hooligans vs. #1 Redlegs

Speaking of good timing, Major Neely is getting the top-ranked Redlegs on a week when they're without Jason Witten and Ezekiel Elliott. Still, I don't think the Hooligans have what it takes to knock off the early favorite.

#13 ​Mutinous Apes vs. #2 Vultures

Speaking of bye-week hell, the Vultures are without TE Greg Olsen . . . it's a good thing Brosh also has Rob Gronkowski. Assuming Jordy Nelson gets it going in the second half of the Thursday night game, Brosh can still beat Musselman. But I wouldn't be shocked if the Apes pulled off the upset.
