Brake spent 2006 at Camp Liberty with Jimmy Mitchell in SSG Taylor's squad. Since then, he's worked in various position in the oil and gas industry, including supervising a yard in the boomtowns of North Dakota. Fittingly, his franchise is named the Boomtown Brawlers. Brake now lives in Chickasha with his wife.
He is the only OILer to make it to three straight championship games. He won the PFC in his first year (2015) and defended his title the next season, when he lost to Buehre. But in 2017 he won a rematch against Buehre, giving him two championships in three seasons.
