By Redlegs Manager Lance Zerger Welcome to Week 3 of "What in the World is Going on in our League". Cocks and Hooligans are in the top 3 of the league and that is even without the proper internet that the Hooligans Ownership have protested about. This week has a lot of interesting match-ups. Let's get down to it. Sawtooths vs. Warm BodiesThe Sawtooths and Warm Bodies are both coming into this match-up fresh off of their first wins of the season. The Warm Bodies open up as 11 point favorites. Both teams saw their potential breakout stars have a not so great day on Thursday night, both Julian Edelman and DeAndre Hopkins had below average games and were hardly even close to a breakout type of performance. With that being said, DeAndre was expected rack up 18 points this week but only came down with 9 points. This is huge for the Sawtooths and evens the playing field. I like the Warm Bodies in this one. Brewmasters vs. DoughboysAlthough the Doughboys have had a rocky start this week, they are projected the early favorites against the Brewmasters. The Doughboys had a huge Thursday night while Blount and the Patriots Defense played exceptionally well against a struggling Texans defense. The Doughboys are predicted to roll in this game and I agree. This game will not even be close. Redlegs vs. CocksWhy would anyone bet against the Cocks? They are 2-0 and are the best scoring team in the league as of now. The Cocks who struggled to win a game last season, have had a fast start this year and are looking to steam roll the Redlegs. Although they are 2-0 the Cocks are the favorites in this week's match-up. However, the Redlegs are predicted to win this game, I do not necessarily agree. The Cocks have found ways to win early in the season so no one should count them out. Hillier vs. Rebel AllianceThe Rebel Alliance are coming off of a loss last week and the Hillier's have been under performing all season long and have found themselves in an 0-2 hole, at the bottom of the league. This is the Author's lock of the week. I like the Rebel Alliance in this one. It is over before it has started. The Rebel Alliance roll big time. Steel Reign vs. HooligansWhat is there to say when a Mentor takes on the Student? That is what we have this week. This week, the Student does the teaching. I think the Steel Reign take this match-up this week. However, I think it will come down to whether or not Odell Beckham Jr can actually have a decent game this week. I am sure the Steel Reign are looking for him to break out this season but it has left open Oklahoma Favorite Sterling Shepard who went over 100 yards for the first time in his career last week. Steel Reign win this week. Mutinous Apes vs. Negligent DischargesThis is game is the to close to call match-up. Both teams come in at an even push. However, I think the Mutinous Apes get their first victory this week. I like the Mutinous Apes in this match-up. Vultures vs. War PonyThe Vultures have found ways to win time and time again. The War Pony is the past two season AFC Champions. This game should be very interesting. The War Pony are the favorites at home this week, but the Vultures are known to break out for 170 points a week like it is nothing. I like the War Pony in this match-up but it would not surprise me if the Vultures won either. This is my favorite match-up of the week.
The fine gentlemen at RateMeLeague.com just released three 30-minute podcasts on the OIL, one for each OIL conference. Check it out below: AFC

Due to overwhelming demand, the 2017 OIL draft weekend will once again take place on Labor Day weekend at the Roberts Retreat Lodge near Konawa, Oklahoma. The venue has been reserved and the deposit paid.
By Arrogant Americans Manager Justin C. Cliburn Welcome to the OIL's 11th season. We just concluded the absolute best draft weekend imaginable, and I hope to do it again next year. Hard Targets vs. Arrogant AmericansThis is going to be a tight one. Yahoo! has my 'Mericans as a slight favorite, but I'm not so sure. Finch has earned a first-round bye in three consecutive seasons, so I'm not ready to count him out. Plus, he drafted a hell of a team last Sunday. I'm picking the Hard Targets here.
By Redlegs Manager Lance Zerger Gentlemen, welcome back to the third season of the AFC. We have had big news in the off season. Keeping with his true form, Adam Schuster faked his marriage so that he could get Target Gift Cards to shop [Editor's note: Seriously, this is some George Costanza-level shit on Schuster's part] and hopefully use the bathroom with a transvestites, whom then he would trade the gift cards for services. I hope that everyone has had a great summer and is looking forward to the league as much as I am. Good luck this week everyone. Mutinous Apes vs. War PonyAccording to the draft analysis, the Mutinous Apes did not fair so well in the draft. They are taking on the reigning back to back AFC Champions War Pony in the week one matchup. This matchup will not even be close. I like the War Pony in this one and so does Yahoo!.
By OIL Commissioner Justin C. Cliburn Welcome back, kids! How was your summer? Did you learn how to not suck at fantasy football? Let's hope so, because Brake is getting mighty comfortable with that trophy and doesn't want to let it go. If you weren't at the draft party, here's what you missed out on. I hope to see you at next year's draft weekend. Dirty Dogs vs. Boomtown BrawlersThe kickoff weekend starts with the PFC commissioner, Scott Buehre, facing off against the defending champion, Brake's Boomtown Brawlers. Buehre was horrid last year, but he showed up to last year's draft on no sleep. He was, presumably, sober this year, and his team looks great. I'm picking the Dirty Dogs to knock off the defending champs here.
The 11th annual OIL draft is complete. I've already uploaded them onto the drafts page of the website. Here are the the drafts on Yahoo!:
